Quarterly Turnover Survey Results
First Quarter 2010 THE Employers Council
Median turnover rates, excluding layoffs, staff reductions, and departures of temporary workers, averaged 0.48 percent in the first quarter of 2010, a decrease from the average median rate of 0.63 percent for the fourth quarter of 2009. Monthly median rates are January (0.41 percent), February (0.59 percent), and March (0.43 percent) compared to monthly rates for October (0.98 percent), November (0.22 percent), and December (0.70 percent). Ninety-six Wasatch Front employers submitted data for this study. The table below represents the results from our survey for the 1st quarter of 2010.
