ABOUT THE AWARDS
The Utah Manufacturers Association salutes companies that have implemented a best practice in 2013. The Best Practice Award committee will evaluate the submissions.
2013 Best Practice Awards recipients will be notified in advance of the Manufacturing Summit to be held on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Salt Lake Community College, Miller Campus 9750 South 300 West.
ELIGIBILITY
Recognizing that companies of different sizes face different challenges in their best practice programs, awards will be presented for four different categories according to number of employees. The range of company sizes and categories are as follows: 1 to 50 Employees, 51 to 200 Employees, 201 to 500 Employees and 501 Employees and up. We anticipate this format will afford more opportunity for additional companies to compete with like-sized companies.
APPLICATION MATERIALS REQUIRED
Each company may apply for two of the best practice award categories. There are four best practice award categories; 1) Equipment/Process Reliability, 2) Continuous Improvement, 3) Quality Management System and 4) Problem Solving Capability.
