Millenniata Archival Disc Stands the Test of Time in U.S. Naval Optical Media Study
Millenniata, Inc.'s Anxiously Awaited M-DISCT Optical Media is the Only Survivor of Accelerated Life Testing Performed by the U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, CA.

PROVO, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Millenniata Inc.'s M-DISCT is the sole survivor of accelerated life cycle testing performed by the Life Cycle and Environment Engineering Branch of the U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, CA. Optical media currently available in the archival industry fails unpredictably and do not offer a permanent and reliable long term storage solution. This test verifies that the M-DISCT, a new optical disc technology, will not fail in the harshest of conditions.

"None of the Millenniata media suffered any data degradation at all. Every other brand tested showed large increases in data errors after the stress period. Many of the discs were so damaged that they could not be recognized as DVDs by the disc analyzer"

NAVAIR independently tested five different brands of archival-quality, dye-based recordable DVD discs along side the Millenniata M-DISCT. The sample discs were stressed in a combined temperature, humidity and light cycle test criteria. To assure reliability, the tests were repeated three times with identical results.

"None of the Millenniata media suffered any data degradation at all. Every other brand tested showed large increases in data errors after the stress period. Many of the discs were so damaged that they could not be recognized as DVDs by the disc analyzer," as stated in the Accelerated Life Cycle Comparison of Millenniata Archival DVD report.

05 March 2010-

Xlear, Inc. announced that it is donating more than 31,000 4oz. tubes of Spry Cool Mint toothpaste to support the ongoing global humanitarian relief efforts in Haiti. The eight pallets of the toothpaste, with a retail value of more than $150,000, will ship from Miami to Haiti where World Vision, a Christian relief and development organization, will coordinate the distribution of the toothpaste as part of a complete hygiene kit. Spry toothpaste is made with xylitol, a natural sweetener that has proven to help reduce the risk of tooth decay.

"Our hearts go out to the people of Haiti during this time of rebirth and recovery," said Blaine Yates, president and CEO of Xlear, Inc. "As Haitians continue to rebuild their homes, businesses and country, maintaining their health will be critical, and we hope this small donation will help thousands of people maintain good oral health. We also appreciate the efforts of World Vision, which has staff on the ground providing relief in Haiti and will make sure our donation gets to the people who need it the most."

Xylitol is found in many fruits and vegetables, as well as other organic sources, including corn cobs and birch trees. Xylitol has proven to have significant dental benefits. These benefits have been confirmed in numerous international field studies. The results of the studies have led to official endorsements by dental association and organizations around the world, including England, Estonia, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the United States, of products containing high levels of xylitol.
